All initial grooms are trial grooms. After the first groom, it will be determined if your dog is a good fit for our client roster. 

** Please note we are only open every other Saturday **

Best In Show Grooming Cancellation / No Show Policy: 

• We requires 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

• If cancellation or rescheduling happens with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be required to pay 50% of the price of the groom.

• If you do not cancel, and simply no-show for an appointment, you will be required to pay the full price of the groom.

• Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may require prepayment for future appointments or refusal of service. 

Best In Show Grooming Does Not:

• Accept dogs over 50 lbs, unless they are extremely tolerant of the grooming process. We are a solo operation. 

• Perform excessive de-matting. It is painful, causes severe skin irritation, and is stressful for your pup. Severe matting acts like a tight band, causing skin damage and hiding infections, sores, and even parasites. Shaving is chosen over painful de-matting to prioritize the dog’s comfort over vanity. 

• Accept dogs who are overly anxious / aggressive. We are a solo operation. 

• Service skunked dogs

• Offer hand stripping 

• Express Anal Glands. In healthy dogs, glands empty naturally during bowel movements. If your dog's anal glands are not expressing naturally—indicated by scooting, excessive licking, or foul odours—you should seek veterinary help. 

• Deshed to a dangerous degree. If a dog comes in that needs a de-shed, but it does not come in regularly, it is possible all undercoat might not be able to be removed. We can only fully remove an undercoat from a well maintaned pup. A heavily impacted undercoat might need multiple visits to get back on track.
